day 1: venice (D)
transfer from marco polo airport to hotel via water taxi.
free time to settle in an explore or enjoy a traditional gondola ride.
meet your tour guide in the evening and get acquainted with other members of the group at hotel dinner.
overnight in venice.
day 2: venice + grappa museum (B)
morning - walking tour with guide around venice along waterways, backstreets of the island. you will visit rialto bridge, st. marks square, and st. marks basilica with its golden domes.
depart venice via water taxi and board a coach go make your way towards bassano del grappa.
there you will sample popular italian tipple before heading off to verona where you will spend the night.
day 3: verona + wine tasting (B)
morning - explore old centre of verona and see juliet's famous balcony. tour also includes roman arena, basilica or san zeno, and the arco di gavie.
you'll then tickle your tastebuds at zeno gelati e cioccolato where you'll sample some delicious gelato.
moving forward, you'll visit a local wine cellar where you'll get the chance to sample locally produced wine.
after a day of wine + gelato tasting and touring, you'll depart for lake como.

day 4: lake como (B)
kick off your day with a scenic drive along the west bank. make your way towards tremezzo where you'll visit the villa carlotta. you'll get some free time to wander around the gardens and the villa.
in the early afternoon, catch a ferry to the beautiful town of bellagio. here you will enjoy a leisurely italian lunch and enjoy the gorgeous views. later in the afternoon, travel back to como where you'll spend the evening at your own leisure.

day 5: milan + genoa cooking demo (B)
leaving lake como, you'll spend the morning in fashion-capital milan where you'll explore some of the sights on a guided walking tour including the iconic milan cathedral and la scala opera house.
you'll have some free time to grab a bite after the tour or shop around quadrilatero d'oro, where some of the world's most famous fashion houses stand.
in the afternoon, you'll be en route to genoa to taste local produce and check into your hotel.
overnight in genoa.
day 6: cinque terre (B, D)
leave early morning for cinque terre to discover captivating villages.
with a day pass, you'll have free time to explore each village at your leisure and choose from various scenic trails between each village. there are also train services at your disposal.
in the late afternoon, meet at the coach to transfer to tuscan town of montecatini.
enjoy a group dinner at a local trattoria in the evening.
overnight in motercatini.
day 7: lucca, pisa, and florence (B)
after breakfast, you'll visit lucca to enjoy a leisurely stroll around the cobbled streets or relax with a coffee before leaving for a short drive to pisa.
the leaning tower of pisa - need I say more? there's time to enjoy lunch and have a stroll before moving onto florence where the tour will come to an end.
